WIRD Celebrates National Women’s Month by Announcing Release of ‘Undiscovered Story.’
The crypto-powered trivia game to be released April 2019 will allow users to celebrate the contributions of girls and women all year long.
On March 8, the world celebrated International Women’s Day. And in the United States, we recognize the month of March as National Women’s History Month, a practice established by the U.S. Congress and presidents since 1987.

However, the team at Wild Idea Research and Development (WIRD) believes women ought to be celebrated every day of the year. It is, for this reason, we are pleased to announce our inaugural product and the beta release of Undiscovered Story, our crypto-powered trivia game which recognizes the lives and achievements of women and girls around the world and throughout history.
Undiscovered Story allows players to “learn & earn” for social good. First, the game celebrates girls and women by sharing the positive impact they have now and have had throughout history and around the world.
The “earn” aspect of the game comes into play through our native Undiscovered Story utility token or UDGT. Though the game itself does not teach cryptocurrency usage, playing the game affords a hands-on learning opportunity with crypto. By playing the game, players must manage their cryptocurrency and thus become active participants in the cryptocurrency economy.
Additionally, Undiscovered Story catalyzes social impact. When participants answer questions incorrectly, they will contribute to social good through donating tokens, which in the crypto context are ordinarily burned, to vetted girls- or women-led initiatives and startups. This dynamic presents what we call a “dual-learning” opportunity, where players learn not only the name of historical figures but also receive knowledge about present-day initiatives creating a positive impact around the world.
It is worth stating simply: the contributions of girls and women in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math are substantial. Women have contributed to making our societies more inclusive, freer, and overall better places to live and work. Society, if it existed at all, would be a different place without women and, therefore, it is critical that we recognize our wives, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, female friends and colleagues, etc. for the incredible work they do.
The WIRD team is excited to do our part in amplifying the laudable activities of women everywhere, sharing the narrative that women too contributed to many of the things we use and rely on every day.
Through Undiscovered Story, we look forward to partnering with our users to perpetuate meaningful impact around the world. Sign-up here to recieve news about our beta release and to be entered to win free tokens!
